How to install A 48V LiFePO4 Battery?
There are two ways to install a 48V LiFePO4 Battery system. You can use a single 48V LiFePO4 batteries or four 12V LiFePO4 batteries. Both methods is fine, and each method has different installation requirements and advantages.

48V LiFePO4 batteries In Parallel
Connecting a 48V battery is relatively simple, Just as below picture.
First, connect the positive (red) terminal of the 48V battery to the positive (red) lead on the motor. Then connect the negative (black) terminal to the negative (black) lead on the engine. That’s it. Your installation is complete.
12V LiFePO4 battery In Series
Firstly, using the connector cable, connect the negative (black) terminal of the first battery to the positive (red) terminal of the second battery. Then do the same thing to connect the second and third batteries.
At this point, you will have four 12V batteries.
Connect the positive (red) terminal of the first battery to the positive (red) lead on the motor. Then, connect the negative (black) terminal of the third battery to the negative (black) motor lead.
If you have successfully connected all three batteries, your 48V LiFePO4 Battery system should be ready to use.
As a bonus, you can install a power switch on the positive lead. This way, you can completely cut power to the battery when you’re not using it. It’s an extra safety measure and also saves a lot of battery when you’re not using the motor, extending its lifespan.
